Santa Cruz Wellness Expo 2027: New Venue, Theme & Exhibitor Updates
Published about 2 months ago • 2 min read
Dear Santa Cruz Wellness Expo Exhibitors,
I have some exciting news, Reader! Expo planning has been quietly underway, and I wanted to share a few updates with you.
Having looked at different venues to improve the exhibitor and attendee experience with a cleaner, more spacious layout, better A/V for audible announcements, easier access, and free and easy parking—we landed on the Scotts Valley Hilton, which can provide all of the above.
The proposed date is Saturday, January 16, 2027, from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM, with one hour for move-in and breakdown on either end.
The only downside is the cost, which will require me to raise the price of exhibiting to $150 for previous exhibitors and $195 for new exhibitors. There are 33 6' x 6' table spaces available, and tables and chairs are included at no extra charge.
This Year's Theme: Healthy Longevity
The theme was inspired by one of the key demographics we saw among last year’s attendees and reflects a growing interest in not simply living longer, but living well.
We hope this theme will create opportunities to highlight the many ways wellness professionals and businesses can support people in staying healthy, active, and vibrant throughout their lives.
Updated Expo Site Map
I also want to share the updated site map, which now shows the exhibitor spaces that have already been taken.
As the Expo continues to take shape, a Treatment Salon will also soon be added to the map, creating another interactive experience for attendees and an exciting addition to this year’s event.
The format will be mostly the same with a few updates:
We will run a series of ads in the GoodTimes listing all exhibitors, and we will run a feature story about the event to maximize awareness.
Admission will be $5, exhibitors can invite as many guests as they like at no cost (but we will ask them to register to attend). The first 200 registered guests will receive a free gift bag.
We will ask everyone to donate a raffle prize, giving you the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business, and do the drawing at the event.
Exhibitors can contribute anything to the gift bag, including coupons, flyers, and promo materials.
Exhibitors receive a free social media promo you can use to drive attendance and/or invite your customers to attend free of charge.
Exhibitors are welcome to promote news and promotions on the Expo Facebook page, starting now.
Tables can be shared at no extra cost.
Please let me know or my assistant, Nath, by week’s end if you’re interested, after which time we’ll put out the offer to people who contacted us after the event early next week.
I’m excited about the new venue, the updated layout, and the opportunity to build this year’s Expo around Healthy Longevity. I hope you’ll join us for what I believe will be our biggest and most spacious Expo yet!
Feel free to reply to us directly (vs. reply all) with any questions. Looking forward to another fun and successful event!

Hi Reader, In the heart of winter when all of the elements sway us toward slowdown, it’s tempting to respond by doubling down on caffeine. Yes our systems are sluggish, but life doesn’t let us off the hook just like that. Nope, instead we expect the same energy and productivity levels we have during seasons of warmth and daylight. But how does fighting our biology make us feel? Usually out of balance, edgy, distracted, and worst case, burnt out. Seriously, you can force your way through, but...
